Paragon Healthcare Group Announces New Managing Partner of the Owl’s Nest Addiction Recovery Center!

Florence, SC – May 25, 2016 – Paragon Healthcare Group, a market leader in patient advocacy announced today that Phase 1 of campus upgrades to The Owl’s Nest Addiction Recovery Center in Florence, South Carolina has now been completed. The major upgrades in Phase 1 consisted of a complete renovation of the short-term men’s living quarters as well as the landscaping of the entire campus. Additionally, the campus convenience store was renovated and expanded, with further upgrades including a complete dietary meal improvement, an enhancement of menus and expanded food offerings such as a full open salad bar during lunch and dinner, as well as other upgrades and offerings. Renovations to the Tampa, FL branch facility have also begun and will focus on the short-term program as well as special dietary needs and requests from residents. Along with the completed upgrades came the announcement that Mr. Zevi Friedman, entrepreneur and successful businessman, is the new Managing Partner of The Owl’s Nest, a subsidiary sister company of the national Paragon Healthcare Group.

The Owl’s Nest, reputedly the most highly regarded and successful program of its kind and boasting thousands of healthy alumni, is located on 6 acres of property and attached to a 48 acre park in Florence. Offering an exceedingly successful rehab program based on its advanced ideas and dedicated staff, the rehab center helps residents re-enter society as they regain their normal lives in a safe and healthy way. Residents learn how to break bad habits that lead to addictive behavior, offering 3 types of programs including a short term residential program consisting of 28 to 4IG42 days, a long term vocational rehab program consisting of 4 months, and transitional living, which offers a safe and structured environment of recovery with full evaluation and ongoing care. As a testament to the success of the center, the entire program’s staff at The Owl’s Nest has experienced addiction in their own lives, allowing them to identify more strongly with those seeking to recover. Due to a lack of affordable and available treatment centers, lack of insurance for participants, and the fact that addiction is at national epidemic proportions, The Owl’s Nest has taken an exceptionally strategic approach to rehabilitation, greatly enhancing the opportunity to serve more residents.
“Regardless of how effective a rehab program may be, when an individual leaves the program, he is going to be confronted with problems and stresses that might lure them toward using drugs or alcohol again,” stated Mr. Friedman. “The right program provides a person with the skills to deal with any problems so as to ensure that they no longer seek drugs or alcohol as their only option. The Owl’s Nest is that kind of program.”

About The Owl’s Nest
The Owl’s Nest is dedicated to providing a safe and protected recovery environment for men and women seeking freedom and sobriety through the teachings and practice of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. For anyone seeking a true message of compassion, commitment and excellence, The Owl’s Nest, founded in 2001, helps families avoid the financial and emotional burden caused by unsuccessful treatment attempts by providing a successful alternative to the standard “treatment center.” Originally a 12 bed recovery house for men, the program was designed around the principles of AA with an emphasis on personal responsibility, self-discipline, and community. Fueled by its success, the program quickly grew to include programs for men and women, as well as vocational rehabilitation and transitional living options.

  2. Devin says:

As a staff member and a former resident of this program, it has been an honor to work with this new group and I am so happy to see the awesome renovations going on around the facility. The Owl’s Nest is a diamond in the ruff, and the cleaning up and polishing is well needed. Looking forward to all the new things to come and more ways to better help the next suffering addict.
